Many former parishioners and students of Tolentine's grammar and high schools have fond memories of their years spent growing up and raising families in this Bronx neighborhood.

They remember the Augustinians, Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt and Christian Brothers as well as other staff.  They come back to visit, tell stories, and kneel at "home" in a moment when fervent prayer is more necessary and roots help.

We remember them in prayer, because their prayer, song, joy, and praise still resound within Tolentine's walls.

Here you can find a recent story referring to Sr. Gloria Perez who was on staff at the high school in the 80's.  You will read how she mentions Tolentine.

We wish to inform you of the death of Fr. Gus Sandman, O.S.A. who died on 11/17/13. Father served in the parish from 1971-78.  Rest in peace good and faithful servant.
