Many former parishioners and students of Tolentine's grammar and high schools have fond memories of their years spent growing up and raising families in this Bronx neighborhood.

They remember the Augustinians, Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt and Christian Brothers as well as other staff.  They come back to visit, tell stories, and kneel at "home" in a moment when fervent prayer is more necessary and roots help.

We remember them in prayer, because their prayer, song, joy, and praise still resound within Tolentine's walls.

Recently this video came across our desk. It sings of Tolentine and neighborhood memories. Enjoy
and thanks to its author.

Fr. Shawn Tracy, O.S.A. who
served at Tolentine in the '70's
